DC Comics • Tier 1: Living Paradox (Omnipresent Acausality)
Reverse-Flash (Eobard Thawne)
Timeline Immunity: 100% (Immune to Grandfather Paradox and Timeline Alterations)
Chronal Mechanics: Tapping into the Negative Speed Force makes Thawne a living time paradox. Even if his ancestor is killed or his past self is erased in history, redundant timeline copies instantly materialize from hyper-time.
Signature Timeline Feat: Erased from existence by Doctor Manhattan in The Button, yet regenerated completely in Flash #750 through Negative Speed Force temporal permanence.
DC Comics • Tier 2: Speed Force Temporal Rewind
The Flash (Barry Allen / Wally West)
Timeline Immunity: 90% (Anchored by Speed Force aura, but susceptible to Time Wraiths and Black Flash)
Chronal Mechanics: Running faster than the speed of light penetrates the Time Barrier. The Flash can physically run backward through the timestream, reshaping historical events, creating alternate universes (Flashpoint).
Signature Timeline Feat: Saved the multiverse in Crisis on Infinite Earths and rewrote the prime universe continuity in Flashpoint #5.
Marvel Comics • Tier 3: Infinite Temporal Looping & Mystical Stasis
Doctor Strange (Eye of Agamotto / Time Stone)
Timeline Immunity: 85% (Subject to spatial-temporal disruptions if the artifact is separated)
Chronal Mechanics: Channels the Time Stone or Vishanti spells to lock reality into an unbreakable recursive temporal loop. If killed, time rewinds instantaneously to a set anchor point.
Signature Timeline Feat: Trapped Dormammu, an omnipotent dimensional god, in an inescapable infinite time loop until Dormammu conceded.
Marvel Comics • Tier 4: Chrono-Science & Divergent Variants
Kang the Conqueror / Immortus
Timeline Immunity: 80% (Killing one Kang simply branches another divergent variant into existence)
Chronal Mechanics: Mastery of 40th-century chronal physics and Damocles Base technology allows Kang to recruit variants of himself across infinite branches and prune hostile timelines.
Signature Timeline Feat: Conquered trillions of divergent timeline Earths and established the Council of Cross-Time Kangs.
